Kids' birthday parties, without the planning stress.

Choosing a theme, finding games, working out how much food to buy, keeping to a budget, remembering the candles. It's a lot, and it all lands on one parent. Tell us five things about your child and the party, and we send back a Party Plan that does the thinking for you: a ready-made theme, games with everything you need for each, a food list with quantities, a shopping list with estimated costs and a timed run-sheet for the day. $39 for the whole party.

A custom Printable Pack, with an invitation, bunting, thank-you cards and games made with your child's name and theme, is $19 extra. Want us to do the shopping too? There's an optional Party Box. Looks familiar?

It's 10pm and you've got fourteen tabs open about dinosaur cakes

Most of us want to throw a party our kid will remember. What we don't have is a spare weekend to work out the theme, hunt down matching plates and banners across three shops, and remember the candles.

The planning eats your evenings

Themes, games, timings, what to buy and where. It adds up to hours you'd rather spend elsewhere.

The little things add up

A few extra balloons here, another pack of plates there. Without a number to plan against, it creeps.

The last-minute scramble

The banner hasn't arrived, nobody bought candles, and you're not sure what game comes after cake.

A bin full of plastic

Single-use decorations and loot-bag trinkets that are broken or forgotten by Monday.

Parties can get expensive. In a Decathlon survey of more than 1,000 Australian parents, the reported average spend on a kids' party was $1,118, and 61% said they'd decided not to host at least once because of the cost. The Party Plan is $39, and we build it around the budget you give us. Source: Decathlon survey, as reported by The Courier Mail.
How it works

Three steps, and the planning is done for you

Tell us the basics

Age, theme, number of guests, budget in AUD and the date. It takes about two minutes.

We write your plan

We build a personalised Party Plan: theme, games pitched at your child's age with the items you need for each, a food list with quantities and a timed run-sheet for the day. It comes to you as a PDF you can print or keep on your phone.

Shop it, or let us

Most parents take the plan and do the shopping themselves. If you'd rather not, add a Party Box: we shop, pack and post the decorations, tableware and game supplies to your door.

How the Party Plan solves it

Every worry on your list, taken care of

Every plan is written from your five answers, so it fits your child, your guest list and your budget, and each part is there to answer a common worry. It's $39 per party, with no shipping and nothing to wait for from a courier.

Dreading the day itself?A countdown checklist and a run-sheet timed from set-up to goodbyes
Want a bit more?

Two optional extras

The plan is all most parents need. If you'd like some of the work taken off your hands as well, there are two ways to add to it.

Printable Pack, +$19

Made for your party, not a generic download: an invitation with your child's name, age, date and venue, "Happy Birthday" bunting, a welcome sign, thank-you cards, goodie-bag tags, name badges, food labels and games, all in your theme's colours. A4, so print at home or at your local print shop.

Party Box, from $229

Rather not shop at all? We buy the decorations, tableware, game supplies and loot-bag bits for your theme, pack them with your plan and post the box to your door. Boxes are $229, $249 or $279 plus shipping, and need at least 14 days' notice. We tell you the exact total and arrival date before you pay.
